Weekly gross for 40 working hours: $1977.61(all-inclusive)
Weekly stipend/Non-taxable: $857.61 (only for candidates living 50 miles away from facility)

Job Summary:

• The Sterile Processing Technician 2 is responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, processing, organizing, and distributing medical instruments, equipment, and supplies used in patient care.
• This role ensures compliance with regulatory and infection control standards while supporting surgical and clinical departments. The technician may also serve as a resource and mentor to Sterile Processing Technician 1 staff.

• Prepare rooms and organize instruments, equipment, treatment trays, and supplies for assigned departments.
• Clean and decontaminate instruments, containers, and patient equipment per regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Operate semi-automatic and automatic sterilization equipment and washers.
• Inventory, order, replenish, and distribute instruments, reusable medical equipment, and medical supplies.
• Maintain accurate records, files, and inventory controls.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, manufacturer, and infection control practices.
• Assist with in-service training and mentor Level 1 Sterile Processing staff.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Sterile Processing
• Active CRCST or CBSPD certification
• BLS(AHA)
