Phlebotomist II
Job Title: Patient Services Representative II (Phlebotomist)
Location: Naples, FL
Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (EST) | Rotational Saturdays 6:00 AM – 10:30 AM
Duration: 3+ Months Contract
Job Summary
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) is responsible for collecting blood specimens and preparing them for laboratory testing. This role interacts directly with patients, ensuring a safe, professional, and comfortable experience while following established phlebotomy procedures and maintaining patient confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection for patients of all ages (pediatric, adult, geriatric).

Verify patient identification and ensure accurate specimen labeling in the patient’s presence.

Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing according to standard procedures.

Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.

Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional environment.

Follow all safety, compliance, and confidentiality guidelines.

Travel to nearby patient service centers or physician offices if needed.
Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)

Phlebotomy certification preferred

Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred

Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience (including pediatric and geriatric collections)

Patient Service Center experience preferred

Strong customer service and communication skills

Basic computer and data entry skills

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Additional Requirements

Must have reliable personal transportation and valid driver’s license if applicable

Must live within 20–25 minutes commute of the worksite

Flexible for schedule changes, overtime, or covering other nearby locations if needed
-
Must maintain punctuality and full shift attendance
