Requirements:

ARRT (N) or CNMT certification

BLS (AHA only)

Minimum 1 year of experience

Experience with Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT
Job Summary:
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients under the supervision of a Radiologist. The role involves producing high-quality diagnostic images, administering radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring radiation safety, and following established imaging protocols.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures including planar, SPECT, and SPECT/CT.

Administer radiopharmaceuticals and adjunct medications as per protocol.

Ensure patient safety, radiation safety, and infection control compliance.

Prepare and position patients for procedures and explain exams clearly.

Perform equipment quality control and maintain imaging standards.

Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and medical staff to ensure accurate imaging and patient care.

Upload and manage patient images in PACS for physician review.
Additional Skills:

Ability to work independently and handle on-call responsibilities.

Strong communication and patient care skills.

Knowledge of PACS, EMR systems, and general computer applications.
