JOB DESCRIPTION
Overview:
This position plays a key role in evaluating and optimizing legacy analog telecommunications services.
This position is responsible for analyzing usage and costs to determine whether services should be retained, replaced, or disconnected.
The role requires strong experience with legacy voice and data circuits, as well as the ability to deliver clear, datadriven recommendations that support cost optimization and modernization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
The role is responsible for analyzing telecommunications billing to uncover costsavings opportunities.
This position collaborates closely with site contacts, TEM vendor, and carriers to collect required data and develop recommendations to retain, replace, or disconnect services.
The role also manages project timelines, deliverables, and reporting to ensure successful execution of approved initiatives, while maintaining consistent communication with stakeholders by providing status updates and resolving issues as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience with legacy telecommunications services, including data circuits and analog dial tone, with demonstrated success in a telecommunications analyst or similar role.
Strong understanding of telecom billing, invoicing, and inventory management, with the ability to analyze complex data sets.
Selfmotivated and proactive, with proven problemsolving skills and proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
Detailed Responsibilities:
Conduct analysis of analog telecommunications lines by location, usage, and billing; identify redundant services.
Collaborate with site contacts, vendors, and stakeholders to validate requirements.
Determine services requiring disconnection or replacement.
Update findings in appropriate tracking systems.
Manage timelines and execution of approved actions; and maintain clear, effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate is a selfdirected telecommunications professional with strong analytical, communication, and project management skills. They bring deep experience with legacy voice and data circuits and demonstrate the ability to interpret complex billing and inventory data to drive informed decisions. The candidate is comfortable engaging with site leadership, vendors, and carriers, and can clearly communicate findings and recommendations. A proven ability to manage multiple initiatives, provide structured project updates, and contribute to a collaborative team environment is essential.
Are there any specific disqualifiers or criteria that would prevent a candidate from being considered for this position?
Candidates will not be considered for this position if they do not have a minimum of five years of relevant experience or lack a working understanding of legacy voice and network circuits.
