Job Summary:

• Operate Computed Tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment and processors.
• Analyze body habitus to correctly adjust technical factors.
• Position the body correctly.
• Review physicians’ orders and obtain pertinent clinical data to consistently produce high-quality radiographs and reduce unnecessary radiation to patients and self.
• Assist physicians during procedures, including room preparation, supplies, contrast reactions, and codes.
• Ability to schedule and complete exams and enter correct charge codes.

Experience:

• 2 years or more experience with trauma and stroke experience required.

Education:

• Associate's Degree or equivalent required.
• Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program required.

Certifications:

• BLS required.
• AART RT(R)CT required.
• Current State/District license required.
