Trade Compliance Analyst
Job Description: This position is remote - HM would Prefer EST or CST but would consider any qualified candidate, please ensure resume as the city and state where candidate resides Shift - Mon-Fri 8am 5pm Top 3 skills - Highly organized, pays attention to details, communicates clearly.
This role will primarily use Microsoft Excel and AI to organize supplier solicitation workload. This analyst will leverage technology to reach out to suppliers in order to provide certificates of origin for non-preferential declaration and duty mitigation.
What youll do:
- Solicitation management: Launch and track solicitation requests for metal content with sites, procurement, or suppliers.
- Reviews information received from supplier for completeness and accuracy.
- Database updates: Maintain and update the parts database with the broker as new information is collected.
- Organizes feedback from suppliers to provide to internal business partner for creation of non-preferential country of origin solicitation.
- Is able to visualize data to provide real time updates of sent requests, pending responses and other key metrics to gauge process.
- Will support email inbox management of inquiries related to basic trade operations activity (Data lookup in SAP, Google support translations)
Who you are:
- Bachelors degree in supply chain or trade related field or minimum 3 years of industry experience.
- Familiar with common trade terms like Harmonized Tariff Schedule, Incoterms, Country of Origin.
- Ability to independently operate and take proactive initiatives to further tasks is favored.
