Job Title: Surgical Tech 2
Location: Milwaukee, WI, 53226
Duration: 6 Months+ (Potential to extend)
Shift: Days 7/70 (7 days on and 7 days off)
Schedule: Weekends required, On-call required
Required Skills & Experience
- Two years of full-time equivalent experience as a Surgical Technologist – Required
Required:
- High School/GED and one of the following:
- Completion of a Surgical Technologist Program
- Completion of a Military Training Program as an Operating Room Specialist
- Completion of a Client-sponsored Apprentice II Program
- Ten or more years of experience as a Surgical Tech
Licensure & Certifications
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent – Required
Job Summary
- Collaborates with the surgical team to provide care for patients, ensuring that patient goals and hospital mission are achieved
- Performs procedures across multiple specialties requiring varied knowledge and skill
- Demonstrates advanced collaboration with peers in decisions related to surgical patient care
- Other duties as assigned
