Job Title: ENTRY Phlebotomist I
Job Location: High Point, NC
Job Duration: 4-5 Months (possibility of extension)
Shift: Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Job Title: Patient Services Representative I (Entry Level)
Position Overview
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is the first point of contact for patients and represents the company’s commitment to exceptional care. This entry-level role focuses on greeting patients, assisting with check-ins, maintaining a professional lobby environment, and supporting phlebotomy duties as needed. The PSR I will be trained in phlebotomy and expected to grow into specimen collection and processing responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities

Greet patients with compassion and professionalism

Assist patients with check-in using a self-service kiosk or handheld tablet

Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming lobby environment

Answer patient questions and address concerns with empathy

Support phlebotomy staff during breaks or downtime

Learn phlebotomy skills and perform clinical and forensic specimen collection once trained

Maintain accurate documentation and patient records

Follow established procedures and safety standards

Demonstrate excellent customer service and confidentiality
Requirements
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Phlebotomy certificate required.
Experience:
-
1–2 years of client-facing customer service experience (required)

Examples: retail, home health aide, customer service roles

Keyboard/data entry experience (required)

Phlebotomy experience is not required
Skills & Abilities:

Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor

Ability to handle patients with care and compassion

Willingness to learn phlebotomy and perform specimen collection

Reliable transportation and punctuality

Ability to work full scheduled shifts without frequent tardiness or absenteeism
