Job Summary:
Seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician I to support daily maintenance operations at the Memphis Global Logistics Center. The technician will perform preventative maintenance (PM), troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and assist with energy conservation and sustainability initiatives. This role requires collaboration with operations, engineering, and quality teams, while proactively addressing equipment issues to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.

Job Summary:
Seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician I to support daily maintenance operations at the Memphis Global Logistics Center. The technician will perform preventative maintenance (PM), troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and assist with energy conservation and sustainability initiatives. This role requires collaboration with operations, engineering, and quality teams, while proactively addressing equipment issues to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and complete PMs using Proteus CMMS, ensuring timely documentation.
- Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Build and rebuild machine assemblies and assist with robotics handling and issue resolution.
- Communicate repair needs and equipment status to supervisors and team leads.
- Support and train junior technicians, promote safety practices, and uphold 6S standards.
- Track, report, and respond to equipment alarms and trends to prevent recurring issues.
- Maintain 100% completion rate for all required safety and compliance training.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certifications preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Strong ability to read mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical schematics.
- Working knowledge of PLCs, CMMS (Proteus or Maximo), MS Word, and MS Excel.
- Must be physically capable of lifting up to 100 lbs and navigating facility grounds.
- Strong verbal/written communication, documentation skills, and ability to work independently.
