Location: Plantation, FL, 33322
Shift: Eastern 8:00am-5:00pm Monday- Friday 6:30am-11:30am every Saturday.
Duration: 4 Months 

Job Summary:
The PSR I serves as the primary point of contact for patients, representing the company in a professional and compassionate manner. This role involves drawing quality blood specimens, preparing them for lab testing, and maintaining accuracy and confidentiality in all patient interactions. The PSR I ensures a safe, professional environment and performs clinical and forensic specimen collection with precision and adherence to established procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily patient services and specimen collection tasks accurately and on time.

• Maintain a safe, professional, and compliant environment for patients and staff.

• Collect and process clinical and forensic specimens following established procedures.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of specimens and patient information.

• Demonstrate professionalism and create trust and confidence with patients during procedures.

• Promote a positive image of the organization to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

• Support process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy in all duties.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Medical training (Medical Assistant or Paramedic) preferred.

• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).

• Minimum 6 months of direct experience in a clinical environment; 1+ years of phlebotomy experience preferred.

• Strong customer service skills; experience in retail or service settings is a plus.

• Proficiency in keyboard/data entry and recordkeeping.

• Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime.

• Reliable personal transportation and ability to commute within 20–25 minutes of worksite.

• Knowledge of infection-control, safety, and HIPAA/CLIA compliance.
