Job Title: Manufacturing Technician I – Contingent
Location: St. Paul, MN
Duration: 6 Months
Pay Rate: $18 – $20/hr (W2)

Role Overview
The Manufacturing Technician I is responsible for the production, assembly, and packaging of medical device products in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and environmental health and safety guidelines. The role requires attention to detail, consistent attendance, and adherence to quality and safety standards in a cleanroom or manufacturing environment.

Location: St. Paul, MN
Duration: 6 Months
Pay Rate: $18 – $20/hr (W2)
Work Schedule:
- Current: Monday – Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM; Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Approx. 8 hours overtime/week)
- Standard (as overtime decreases): Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Role Overview
The Manufacturing Technician I is responsible for the production, assembly, and packaging of medical device products in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and environmental health and safety guidelines. The role requires attention to detail, consistent attendance, and adherence to quality and safety standards in a cleanroom or manufacturing environment.
Must Have:
- Perform hands-on tasks such as:
- Washing and wrapping components/equipment
- Assembling or gluing components
- Packaging, sealing, and labeling devices
- Preparing products for sterilization and final shipment
- Operate general production equipment (e.g., sealers, autoclaves, stir plates)
- Maintain cleanliness of production area in compliance with GMP standards
- Receive and distribute production supplies
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE
- Learn and apply SOPs, cGMP standards, and documentation practices
- Complete required training on time
Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (required)
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Basic written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to read and follow instructions and visual diagrams
- Basic math skills required
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for 8+ hours with scheduled breaks
- Lift up to 25 lbs individually or 65 lbs in team lifts
- Frequent repetitive hand motions and fine hand coordination
- Must meet 20/25 vision requirement (corrective lenses permitted)
- Work in a cleanroom environment with required PPE (scrubs, gloves, masks, etc.)
- Overtime may be required; rotating duties may be assigned
