Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8 am–4 pm or Monday–Friday, 10 am–6 pm (40 hours/week)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Location: NYC, NY
Pay Rate: $73/hour negotiable (**Per-diem rates are also applicable for qualified candidates)
Role Overview
As an Offsite Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will manage nuclear lab operations, ensuring equipment functionality and compliance, educating patients and families, and performing nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with all applicable policies, procedures, and standards.

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine quality control and performance testing on nuclear medicine lab equipment
- Prepare, administer, and monitor radiopharmaceuticals for PET imaging
- Educate patients and their families on nuclear medicine procedures, safety, and expectations
- Adhere to established protocols and safety standards, including radiation protection and documentation
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and support staff to optimize patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and procedural logs
Education & Certification
- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist
- NMTCB certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Proficient in operating and testing nuclear medicine equipment
- Strong patient communication and education abilities
- Knowledgeable in safety and compliance standards for radiopharmaceutical handling
- NMTCB certification required (CT/X-ray license not required)
