Job Title: Patient Services Representative 
Work Location: Paterson, NJ
Duration: 2-3 Months (Possible Extension/ Temp to Hire)
Shift: Mon - Fri 8:30-4:30

Job Description:
The Patient Services Representative plays a key role in patient care, performing blood specimen collection and processing for lab testing while adhering to safety, confidentiality, and procedural guidelines. The PSR ensures a positive patient experience by clearly explaining procedures and providing skillful, accurate, and safe blood draws. This position may require flexibility, including weekend, holiday, and on-call shifts across multiple locations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws.

• Verify patient information and specimen labeling for accuracy.

• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

• Accurately document patient information and maintain required records.

• Demonstrate leadership, professionalism, and process excellence.

• Work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections.

• Phlebotomy certification required

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Phlebotomy Certification required
