Duties:
Position Title: Accounting Temporary Resource
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage activities related to the CGHB North America and Australia month-end, quarterly and annual US GAAP close processes, including review and approval of journal entries, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and various analysis. Main areas of focus include TPA and ASO etc.
Payment approval, including TPA fees, commissions, intercompany etc.
Journal entry review and approval
Balance sheet reconciliation review and approval
Coordinate with other functional areas, e.g. Treasury, Provider Network, Client Management to troubleshoot and perform ad hoc analyses.
Support US Statutory reporting where needed.
Seek automation and efficiency improvement opportunity.
Additional Requirements:
7+ years of professional accounting experience required, experience in Healthcare Insurance preferred
Bachelors degree in accounting or finance required; CPA preferred
Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, or Finance Manager
Strong technical skills with knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations for US GAAP reporting
Strong sense of control to maintain an appropriate internal control environment
Strong analytical skills to interpret, evaluate and communicate financial results
Excellent computer skills; Microsoft Office Suite experience in accounting software (Oracle general ledger, Account Reconciliation Manager (ARM) as well as Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)) strongly preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to balance multiple projects and adapt to new issues/assignments.
High attention to details and accuracy
