Pay Rate: $75.00/hr
Employment Type: Contract
Shift: Days (Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Travel: Possible travel to Tulsa South Campus
Assignment Dates: Oct 20, 2025 – Jan 17, 2026
Required Skills:

Experience with Chronic Venous Insufficiency

Minimum 6 months of related experience

Ability to work independently and apply critical thinking skills

Strong communication with physicians, surgeons, and healthcare staff

Willingness to participate in on-call rotation
Required Education & Certifications:
-
High school diploma or GED
-
One of the following:
-
RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) from ARDMS
-
RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) or RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist) from CCI
-

BLS Certification
Preferred Education:
-
Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound or Cardiac Ultrasound certification program
Job Summary:
This role is responsible for performing diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound procedures, providing cardiologists with accurate images and measurements for diagnosis. The position also supports physicians during complex procedures, helping reduce procedural risks in environments such as the OR, Hybrid Lab, Cath Lab, and CAD.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform advanced cardiac and/or peripheral vascular ultrasound procedures

Complete adult/pediatric cardiac ultrasound, TEE, stress echo, and vascular studies

Operate and maintain imaging equipment and digital systems

Deliver preliminary reports of critical results to physicians and nurses

Assist in procedures including TAVR, SAVR, Tandem Heart, Lariet, and pseudoaneurysm compression

Maintain accurate documentation, patient records, and departmental logs
-
Support departmental efficiency and patient safety standards
-
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, often working with leadership-level staff
Work Environment & Interactions:

Works closely with patients, physicians, and internal staff

Collaborates frequently with Directors and other senior personnel

Expected to exercise independent judgment

Leads others in similar roles but does not directly supervise
