ENTRY Phlebotomist I
Title: ENTRY Phlebotomist I
Location: Miami, FL 33144
Duration: 4 months (temp to hire)
Shift:Mon-Fri 6:00am-3:00pm
Position Summary:
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the front-facing representative of the healthcare facility, welcoming patients, assisting with check-in procedures, and maintaining a safe and professional lobby environment. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with strong customer service backgrounds who are eager to grow their career by learning phlebotomy skills.
This is not a front-desk-only role. Willingness to train and perform blood draws (phlebotomy) is required.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet and check in patients with compassion and professionalism via self-service kiosk or handheld tablet.

Provide accurate information to patients regarding their scheduled procedure, maintaining trust and confidentiality.

Assist with lobby maintenance and ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.

Provide support during Phlebotomist breaks or downtime, and train to develop phlebotomy skills.

Once trained, perform forensic and clinical blood draws following established procedures and safety protocols.

Maintain accurate documentation, records, and patient data entry in the system.

Exhibit high-level customer service skills to manage patient concerns and deliver a positive experience.

Follow direction from area supervisors and maintain compliance with organizational standards and policies.
