Phlebotomist I

Title: Patient Services Representative I / Phlebotomist I
Location: Davie, FL
Duration: 5 months
Shift: M-F - 6:00am to 2:30pm & Rotational Saturdays - OT available M-F until 3:30pm

The PSR I is the patient-facing role responsible for drawing quality blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and providing excellent patient care. This role requires skillful, safe, and accurate phlebotomy, clear communication to build patient trust, and strict adherence to confidentiality and process standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection following protocols

• Maintain accurate records and documentation

• Ensure a safe, professional environment

• Exhibit leadership and promote a positive image

• Work independently with minimal supervision

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred

• Phlebotomy certification preferred/required in some states (CA, NV, WA)

• Minimum 6 months experience; 1+ years preferred

• Strong customer service and data entry skills

• Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime
