Phlebotomist I
Title: Phlebotomist I
Location: Miami, FL
Duration: 4 months
Shift: M-F 6:00am-2:00pm. Alternating Saturdays 6:00am-11:00am.
Overview:
The PSR I is the face of the organization, providing front-line patient care through quality blood draws and specimen preparation for lab testing. This role requires strong phlebotomy skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to patient trust and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform blood draws (including pediatric and geriatric) with accuracy and care.

Prepare and label specimens per protocol.

Deliver excellent customer service in a high-volume setting (30–40 patients/day).

Ensure proper documentation and maintain a safe, professional environment.

Communicate procedures clearly and build patient confidence.

Follow established lab and safety procedures.

Travel for mandatory classroom and on-site training.
Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required); Medical Assistant/Paramedic training preferred.

Experience: 1+ year of phlebotomy experience required; 2+ years preferred. Retail/customer service and data entry experience a plus.

Certifications: Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).
Additional Requirements:

Must speak, read, and write English fluently.

Must have reliable personal transportation (no rideshare or public transit).

Must be punctual and consistently available for scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays.
