Position: Patient Services Representative I (Phlebotomist)
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Shift/Time Zone: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM | Rotational Saturdays 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Duration: 3 Months

Overview:
Seeking a Patient Services Representative I to perform phlebotomy and specimen collection with professionalism and care. This role is patient-facing and key to maintaining quality standards and patient trust.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and process blood specimens accurately and safely

• Follow established protocols and maintain documentation

• Ensure a clean, safe, and professional work environment

• Deliver excellent customer service and support

• Handle both clinical and forensic collection tasks

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required); Medical assistant or paramedic training (preferred)

• Experience:

  • Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience (required)

  • 1+ year preferred

  • Pediatric & geriatric draws

  • Customer service & data entry experience a plus

Other Details:

• Must live within 20–25 minutes of job site (commute time must be listed on resume)

• Must have reliable transportation (rideshare/bus not accepted)

• On-time attendance is critical – excessive tardiness/absences will result in termination

• Rate based on direct experience only (no overlapping roles)
