Shift: Shift 1 :- Monday-Friday
Every other Saturday
Rate :- 21.00/hr on w2
Job Title: Patient Services Representative I (PSR I)
Job Summary
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the face of the organization, providing high-quality patient care and customer service. This role is responsible for collecting and processing blood and other specimens for laboratory testing while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality. The PSR I builds trust with patients by clearly explaining procedures and performing specimen collection in a skillful, accurate, and professional manner. The position emphasizes process excellence, attention to detail, and adherence to established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities

Perform daily work activities accurately, efficiently, and on time under the direction of the area supervisor

Draw blood specimens using proper techniques for patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations

Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing following established procedures

Prepare and label specimens for laboratory testing in compliance with quality and safety standards

Maintain accurate records, documentation, and patient information while ensuring confidentiality

Create a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for patients

Explain procedures clearly to patients to promote trust and confidence

Demonstrate organizational values and leadership behaviors

Promote a positive image of the organization to patients, clients, employees, and the public
Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience

Strong keyboarding and data entry skills

Ability to deliver accurate, error-free work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Excellent communication and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
-
One or more years of phlebotomy experience
-
Medical training (Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred)
-
Phlebotomy certification preferred
-
Required in California, Nevada, and Washington
-

Previous customer service experience in a retail or service environment
Schedule & Availability

Monday through Friday
-
Must be flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime as required
