Job Title: Certified Surgical Technician
Location: Washington, DC 20037
Contract Length: 3 Months+ (Possible Extension)
Pay range: $47.00/hr. on W2.

Pay range: $47.00/hr. on W2.
Positions Available:
- 1 position: 7 pm - 7 am.
- 1 position: Rotating shift.
- Must live within 100 miles of the facility.
Job Requirements:
- Experience: Must have Labor & Delivery experience; do not submit without L&D experience.
- Procedure Focus: Cesarean sections (C/S) are a primary procedure.
- Certification: NBSTSA Certification as a surgical technologist (CST) required.
- Scrubbing Experience: Minimum 2 years in L&D required.
- BLS Certification: Required.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalency required.
- Training: Completion of an accredited surgical technology program or certification, or degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Skills: Good communication skills required.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare supplies, equipment, and instrumentation for surgical cases.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures and pass instruments appropriately.
- Assist the surgical team in all procedures.
- Responsible for case clean-up, patient positioning, moving patients, and room turnovers.
- Ensure readiness of the surgical field and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures.
