Job Location: Saint Paul MN
Duration: 3+ months of Contract with (temp-to-hire)
Shift: 8am - 5pm
Job Summary
The Patient Services Representative (PSR) serves as the face of the company, interacting directly with patients during routine health visits and important health-related decisions. This role is responsible for collecting high-quality blood specimens and preparing them for laboratory testing while adhering to established practices and procedures. The PSR builds trust and confidence by clearly explaining procedures and performing blood draws in a safe, accurate, and professional manner.
Assignments may include a doctor’s office, a patient service center, or other locations as business needs dictate.
Key Responsibilities

Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor

Maintain a safe, professional, and patient-focused environment

Confidently perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing
-
Verify patient demographic information and obtain patient initials/signature post-venipuncture to confirm correct specimen labeling

Ensure specimens are labeled in the patient’s presence and accurately reflect patient identification

Maintain required records and documentation

Demonstrate leadership behaviors and organizational commitment

Promote a positive image of the company to patients, clients, employees, and the public
Job Requirements
-
Minimum 2–3 years of phlebotomy experience required
-
Ability to deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment
-
Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision
-
Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections
-
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime as needed

Commitment to all company policies and procedures, including dress code, health & safety, and Everyday Excellence Guiding Principles

Strong decision-making skills and good judgment

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting

Superior customer focus with strong communication skills

Ability to adapt quickly and embrace change
Transportation & Scheduling Requirements
-
Reliable transportation is required (bus, Uber, or rideshare is not considered reliable transportation)
-
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record, if applicable
-
Flexible hours and willingness to work at multiple locations with minimal notice
-
Must be available to work all scheduled shifts, arrive on time, and complete the full shift
-
Excessive absenteeism or tardiness will result in termination
