Job Title: Patient Care Technician

Job Duration: 3+ Months Contract (Temp-to-hire)
Pay range – $20 - $25/hr. on W2
Position Summary:
1. Competently administers all department procedures, modalities, programs, and protocols, consistent with training, written and oral communication skills.
2. Requires effective communication skills in dealing with patients, families, and co-workers.

Job Duration: 3+ Months Contract (Temp-to-hire)
Pay range – $20 - $25/hr. on W2
Position Summary:
- Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations.
- Following standard work, assists patients to exam/procedure rooms; obtains patient reported medical and social history, vital signs and height and weight, as needed, patient reported allergy information and medication reconciliation information and records data in EHR.
- Transcribes orders into the HER, such as films, x-ray, labs, and other studies as appropriate, timely and accurately.
- Processes patient referrals to other provider offices.
- Prepares patient EMR charts timely and accurately.
- Gathers reports, labs, studies, or other data pertinent to upcoming patient appointments.
- Faxes and copies necessary information to insurance companies, other provider offices and other facilities, as necessary.
- Records information accurately and timely in the EHR.
- Takes phone messages.
- Prepares charts for clinic.
- Works in-basket messages and work queues.
- Maximizes use of free time between preparing patients and other tasks to clean and stock rooms, copy documents, and filing.
- Obtains provider or patient signatures on appropriate documents.
- Assists with medical and office supply inventory and ordering.
- Follows the identified dress code and safety protocols to ensure patient and employee safety.
- Maintains and practices professional boundaries with all patient and co-worker interactions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- 1st Shift (8AM-5PM)
