Phlebotomist II
Duartion: 2 months

Shift: 8am - 5pm M-F
Position Overview:
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the face of our company, engaging directly with patients who visit for routine health needs or critical lab work. This role involves drawing high-quality blood samples, preparing them for lab testing, and maintaining a professional, trustworthy environment. PSR IIs are expected to exhibit leadership, maintain confidentiality, and uphold accuracy in patient interactions and data handling.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection (forensic and clinical) confidently and according to established procedures.

Greet and assist patients while managing front lobby/lobby control duties.

Verify patient identity, demographics, and confirm labeling accuracy immediately post-collection.

Maintain documentation, records, and comply with all safety and professional standards.

Communicate procedures clearly to patients, creating an atmosphere of trust.

Uphold company image by promoting a positive, professional environment to patients, clients, and colleagues.

Demonstrate flexibility to work at various locations and adapt to sudden schedule changes.
Job Requirements:

Ability to produce accurate, high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong independent work skills with minimal on-site supervision.

Excellent phlebotomy skills, including for pediatric and geriatric patients.

Availability for flexible scheduling, including weekends, holidays, and on-call/overtime as needed.

Knowledge and adherence to company policies including safety, dress code, and conduct standards.

Sound judgment and decision-making within procedural boundaries.

Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record (if applicable).

Comfortable working across multiple locations with little notice.

Capable of prioritizing multiple tasks in a high-volume setting.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Open to ongoing changes and continuous improvement.
Education Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
Experience Requirements:
-
Minimum 3 years phlebotomy experience (including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws)
Additional Job Details:
-
This position will primarily serve as a front-of-house phlebotomist at a complex Patient Service Center (PSC) within a client office complex.
-
Lobby control and patient flow management is a key focus.
-
Flexibility to fill in for coverage across different locations is expected.

Training locations may vary depending on trainer availability.
