Phlebotomist II
Job Title: Phlebotomist II / Patient Services Representative II (PSR II)
Location: Denville, NJ
Schedule: Mon to Fri & Every other Saturday - 7 AM to 2:30 PM
Duration: 3 months
Pay Rate Range: $19.85 - $21.80/hr. on w2
Position Overview:
The PSR II serves as the face of the company, representing the organization to patients who visit for routine health checks or important diagnostic insights. This role involves collecting quality blood specimens, preparing them for lab testing, and delivering excellent patient care in a professional and compassionate manner. Assignments may include work at a doctor’s office, patient service center, or other locations based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily tasks accurately and timely under the direction of the area supervisor.

Maintain a safe, professional, and compliant working environment.

Collect forensic and clinical specimens confidently and in accordance with established procedures.

Verify patient identity and ensure proper labeling and documentation post-venipuncture.

Maintain accurate records and uphold patient confidentiality.

Job Requirements:

Ability to deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced setting.

Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Able to manage multiple priorities effectively in a high-volume environment.

Technical Skills:
-
Strong phlebotomy skills, including experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

Proficient in verifying patient demographics and documentation procedures.

Keyboard/data entry experience required.

Availability & Flexibility:
-
Must be flexible to work weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime as needed.

Required to travel and cover multiple locations on short notice.

Education & Certification:
-
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
-
Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience (including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections).
Additional Information:

Schedule includes every other Saturday.

Training locations may vary depending on trainer availability.
