Provider Coordinator
Job Title: Provider Coordinator
Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Location Requirements: Must reside in FL, GA, ID, IA, KY, MI, NE, NM, NY (outside greater-NYC), OH, TX, UT, WA (outside greater-Seattle), or WI
Time Zone: Must work Eastern Time (EST) hours
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Provider Data Validation & Auditing Specialist to join our managed care client’s remote team. The specialist will ensure accurate provider demographic updates, maintain data integrity across systems, and support claims adjudication accuracy. This is a fully remote, telephonic/email-based role requiring strong communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Review incoming provider information to determine update needs.
Submit update requests to downstream data entry teams when necessary.
Communicate professionally with providers primarily via email.
Accurately load and maintain provider information in internal systems.
Audit provider records for quality and financial accuracy; document findings.
Assist with system/health plan integrations and system-related testing.
Train new hires and current staff as needed.
Support project management activities to meet department deadlines.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent GED required.
Experience: 0–2+ years of managed care experience preferred
Required Skills:Provider data validation and auditing experience.
Excellent attention to detail and strong data entry skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access).
Ability to quickly learn internal systems (e.g., QNXT).
Effective project and time management skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).
Strong relationship-building skills with coworkers, providers, and clients.
