CT Technologist

Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: New York, NY 10029
Duration: 3 months+ with possible extension

Shifts available: Day: Mon to Fri 8 am – 4 pm and Night: Mon to Fri 12 am – 8 am

Payrate Information:
Overall Weekly Pay Rate: $2,880
W2 Weekly Pay Rate: $1,584
Weekly Stipend:$1,296

Education and Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of CT experience; Graduate of Radiologic Technologist
  • Required: New York State License
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT and current CT certification) and BLS certification.
Job Description:
  • Requires the utilization of appropriate kV and mA techniques to ensure quality diagnostic CT images.
  • Performs daily quality control calibration checks on all equipment to ensure the equipment is calibrated and working properly before any patient study is performed.
  • Performs quality control, quality assurance and safety tests. Follow radiation safety guidelines to comply with ALARA principle.
  • Orders patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses 1-day prior to use.
  • Receives radiopharmaceutical on day of delivery and verifies proper receipt as per policy and procedure. Verifies activity level of the does prior to administration.
