Pay Range: $20 – $24/hr. on W2

Role Overview:
The Phlebotomist I, also known as Patient Services Representative I (PSR I), serves as the face of the company to patients, performing skilled blood draws and specimen processing for laboratory testing. This role emphasizes patient trust, safety, and accuracy while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform clinical and forensic blood draws accurately and safely.
• Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing according to standard procedures.
• Maintain required records, documentation, and data entry.
• Promote a positive patient experience and uphold organizational standards.
• Flexibly cover weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime as required.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment.

 
Education & Certification:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).

 
Experience:

• Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience required; 1+ year preferred.
• Customer service experience in healthcare or retail preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.

 
Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and patient safety.
• Good organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
