Location: Avondale, AZ 85392
Duration: 3+ Months (High potential for extension)

Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Parking: On-site
 
Job Description:
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide high-quality patient care and support clinical staff. The ideal candidate will be personable, collaborative, and adaptable, with experience in patient-facing roles within healthcare settings.
 
Responsibilities:

• Room and take vital signs of patients.
• Provide basic patient care and assist with medical tasks.
• Partner with clinicians to ensure positive patient outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members.
• Accept feedback and implement direction from leadership.
• Promote teamwork and a positive work environment.

 
Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a high-touch, patient-facing healthcare role required.
• Certification/Licensure: Must meet one of the following:
  1. Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES.
  2. Completion of relevant Medical Assistant training by any branch of the armed forces.
  3. Possession of a Medical Assistant certification from a certifying organization accredited by either the National Commission for Certifying Agencies or the American National Standards Institute, AND completion of an approved medical assistant training program.

Accepted certifications (active or previously active) include:

• AMCA (American Medical Certification Association)
• AMT (American Medical Technologists)
• AAMA (American Association of Medical Assistants)
• NHA (National Healthcareer Association)
• NCCT (National Center for Competency Testing)

Shift: Days, 8 hours per day (Monday – Friday)
