REQUIRED: minimum 2 years’ experience, current licensure and certification, BLS certification
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Hours Per Day: 12.00
Days Per Week: 3.00
Location: Jackson, MI

Shift: 18:45 – 07:15 every other weekend, 3 x 12s
Job Summary:
- Under general supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor, delivers life-support, resuscitation, monitoring and various medical gases therapy to patients.
- Performs invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures to Intensive Care and General Practice Units patients.
- Maintains clinical expertise for Departmental assignments at various business units throughout, as assigned. Communicates effectively with patients, co-workers, physicians and other system employees as needed, regarding patient care needs.
- Adequately documents all aspects of patient care. Supervises, directs and delegates to Respiratory Therapists, Respiratory orients, externs and students, as assigned.
- Completes necessary and accurate patient billing information.
- Associate of Science Degree, from an accredited Respiratory Therapist program.
- Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
- Registration with the National Board of Respiratory Care.
- Current License - Respiratory Therapist in the State of Michigan.
- BLS
- Two years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience.
