Phlebotomist II
Job Title: Phlebotomist II
Location:Prospect, CT
Shift: Mon to Fri - 07:30 AM to 04:30 PM
Duration: 4 months
Pay Rate: $17.50 to $23/hr. on w2
Summary:
The PSR II serves as the front-line representative for patients, collecting high-quality blood samples and preparing them for lab testing. This role requires excellent phlebotomy skills, strong customer service, and the ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
Key Responsibilities:

Collect and process clinical and forensic specimens accurately and safely

Create a positive, professional patient experience by building trust and explaining procedures

Verify patient identity and ensure proper labeling of samples
-
Maintain accurate records and uphold patient confidentiality
-
Travel to assigned locations as needed (including weekends/holidays/on-call)

Follow safety protocols and company policies
Requirements:
-
High school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
-
Phlebotomy certification required in CA, NV, and WA
-
3+ years phlebotomy experience (including pediatric and geriatric)

2+ years in a Patient Service Center preferred

Strong customer service and data entry skills
-
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if applicable)

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Comfortable with schedule flexibility and frequent location changes
