Physical Therapist

Job Summary:

• The ideal candidate will have experience in working in a large acute care facility and be a team player who will provide exceptional care to our patients.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Include patient evaluation, establishing plans of care and treatment programs, providing interventions, providing patient and family education, documenting interventions, and billing appropriately.
• Supports Lead Clinicians in competency development and implementation.
• Participates in the orientation of new staff members, serves as a clinical instructor for students, exercises independent judgement of moderately complex cases and with minimal to no supervision.

Education:

• New Jersey License to practice Physical Therapy.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy academic program.
• 0-4 years of experience as a Physical Therapist is strongly preferred.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience in Acute Care in large academic medical setting.
• Preference given to candidates that have completed a successful clinical affiliation with client.
• Preference given to candidates with Board Certification as Specialist in an area suitable for care in an acute care setting.

Schedule Notes:

• Monday - Friday 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm Inpatient Care.
• Candidates with high-acuity experience are highly preferred, particularly in ICU, Step-Down, or Cardiac units.
