Phlebotomist II
Duration: 2months

Shift: M-F 9AM - 6PM
Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the face of the company, providing high-quality, compassionate service to patients during routine and critical health visits. This role involves performing phlebotomy, preparing specimens for lab testing, and ensuring accuracy, safety, and confidentiality in every interaction. PSR II professionals are expected to create an environment of trust and professionalism, demonstrate leadership behaviors, and adapt to changing business needs, including working in multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection with skill and confidence, adhering to company protocols.

Draw quality blood samples (venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, and geriatric) and prepare for lab processing.

Verify patient demographic data and obtain post-venipuncture signature to confirm accurate labeling.

Maintain accurate records and documentation for all patient interactions and procedures.

Ensure a safe, clean, and professional environment in accordance with company policies.

Promote a positive company image to patients, clients, coworkers, and the public.

Uphold confidentiality standards and maintain sensitivity to patient information.

Work efficiently and accurately under minimal supervision in a high-volume setting.

Follow all established practices and procedures for specimen handling and processing.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
-
High school diploma or equivalent – Required
Experience:
-
Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections – Required
Skills:
-
Strong phlebotomy skills, including difficult draws

Ability to maintain quality and accuracy in a fast-paced environment

Comfortable working independently with little to no supervision

Ability to handle multiple priorities and stay organized

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient in EMR/EHR systems and basic computer programs
Other Requirements:

Training may take place at different locations based on trainer availability
