Duration: 3 Months+ (Possibilities of Extension)
Shift: 10 PM to 7 AM – Sunday to Thursday (45hrs/ week – subject to adjustment with other staff and might be even 40hrs/week)

Job Description:
- Performs all radiologic procedures, computer entry, quality control, and other related tasks.
- Maintains related paperwork and supplies.
- Consistently performs all radiographic examinations in the expected time and follows through upon completion of the exam. (e.g. releases and educates patient, prepares a hands-on exam, obtains and relays reports to appropriate source).
- Consistently determines accurate exposure factors to obtain diagnostic quality radiographs and adapts factors for various patient conditions and equipment variables to maintain high quality standards to reduce retakes.
- Consistently demonstrates understanding of use and value of radiographic equipment.
- Performs daily overview of equipment function, basic maintenance, and follow-through on troubleshooting and timely reporting of equipment performance issues.
- Consistently acts as a resource for Radiologists, Physicians, fellow Technologists, Support Staff, and all members of the health care team.
- Demonstrates the ability to provide instruction to radiography students in a fair and unbiased manner.
- Proactively checks patient information for accuracy in PACS and consistently verifies studies in a timely manner.
- Must be self-motivated and reliable with strong organizational and communication skills.
Other Duties:
- Candidate will be working independently in the hospital, primarily caring for ED patients and in-patients.
- Perform limited non-contrast CT head scans per acute stroke protocol on Siemens Definition Edge scanner.
- May be requested to help/assist the On-Call CT Technologists whenever possible.
- Expected to work any holidays that land on their regular shift rotation of Sunday – Thursday.
Experience:
- 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred.
Education:
- High school diploma and graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology required.
Certifications and Licenses:
- WI licensed Radiographer
- ARRT
- BLS (AHA) / CPR
