Job Title: Radiology Technologist - Travel
Location: Charleston, SC, 29414
Duration: 3+ Months (Potential for Extension) Contract Role
Schedule: Work Hours: 40 hours/week
Shift: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Note: Offering w2, Travel and Per Diem Packages Available (Based on Eligibility)

Under the supervision of certified radiologists and in accordance with established protocols, the Radiologic Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily in the operating room (OR). The role emphasizes patient care, imaging accuracy, and collaboration with radiologists and clinical teams.

Job Summary:
Under the supervision of certified radiologists and in accordance with established protocols, the Radiologic Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily in the operating room (OR). The role emphasizes patient care, imaging accuracy, and collaboration with radiologists and clinical teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform imaging procedures with attention to age-appropriate care.
- Ensure safety and comfort of patients throughout procedures.
- Assist in the education of student technologists.
- Operate imaging equipment efficiently, minimizing repeats.
- Practice cost-effective use of supplies and time.
- Instruct and prepare patients for procedures.
- Obtain informed consent and communicate post-procedure instructions.
- Verify orders, diagnoses, and clinical histories.
- Maintain effective communication with radiologists and clinical staff.
- Adhere to hospital, safety, and regulatory policies (DHEC, TJC, OSHA, etc.).
- Practice ALARA radiation safety standards.
- Maintain current licensure and complete annual training.
Required Skills:
- Required: Prior OR imaging experience
- Preferred: Experience with O-arm imaging
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with safety and compliance standards (OSHA, FDA, TJC, DHEC)
Required Education:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Preferred Education: -Graduate of an accredited school of Allied Health Professionals.
- Required Certification & Licensure: -South Carolina Radiation Quality Standard Association (SCRQSA) Radiographer Certification -ARRT Radiography (R)
- Certification -BLS thru the American Heart Association
