Assignment Type: 13-week contract (Temp-to-Perm opportunity)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Requirements

Certification (must hold at least one): CBSPD, CRCST, CSPDT, CST

Minimum 2 years’ experience

Sterile Processing Management (SPM) software experience required

Job Summary
The Sterile Processing Technician II is responsible for cleaning, sterilization, processing, organizing, and distributing patient equipment, instruments, and supplies. This role also serves as a resource and mentor to Sterile Processing Technician I staff.
Essential Functions

Prepare rooms and organize instruments, equipment, trays, and supplies for various departments.

Clean and decontaminate instruments, containers, and patient equipment per regulatory standards and facility policy.

Operate semi-automatic and automatic sterilization equipment and washers.

Inventory, order, replenish, and distribute instruments, equipment, and supplies for general and surgical needs.

Maintain accurate records and files.

Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and environmental standards.

Provide in-service training and assist in mentoring junior staff.
