Job Title: Echo Tech | Cardiovascular Sonographer
Location: Billings, MT 59101
Duration: 3 months + (Possible extension)

Shift: 10 hr - Days
Schedule Notes: plus, call. one shift per week and every 4th weekend         
 
Job Summary:
This position performs a variety of diagnostic cardiac/vascular exams under the direction of a physician for identification of abnormalities leading to patient diagnosis.
 
Responsibilities:

• Perform various ultrasound procedures to assess internal organs and vessels for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare exam rooms, obtain informed consent, review patient history, and select appropriate protocols.
• Explain procedures, position patients, and assess their condition to perform necessary diagnostic tests and interventions.
• Ensure image quality and completeness, coordinate documentation and exam preparation for physician review.
• Accurately document and communicate patient information; relay physician or caregiver instructions as needed.
• Support patient care through effective communication, coordination, and safe handoffs between shifts.
• Monitor equipment safety and functionality; report issues, order supplies, and maintain cleanliness.
• Assist in patient transport and actively participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Uphold organizational mission, vision, and values; adhere to service standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned and accommodate individuals with disabilities.
• Maintain regular on-site attendance during scheduled shifts.
   

Update in requirements:

• Active RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer)
• BLS
