About The Role
- The Field Technology Services team is seeking someone with strong technical skills to manage, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and update software, hardware, and networking as necessary to support the client s education, programs, & operations efforts for client sites and facilities.
- Field Technology Specialist provides technical advice, guidance, and implementation of complex work items involving educational and client s Operations software products such as AZTEC, Lexis Nexis, GED Academy, Auto CAD, Teknimedia, Alexandria, Elevate and similar software packages.
- Provides technical support of complex work problems involving computer technology to include workstation and server hardware, software and operating systems, networking hardware, software and infrastructure, and various operating systems software.
- Responsibilities include independently installing, updating and management of applications and hardware at the assigned facilities.
- All candidates must be comfortable going onsite to client facilities.
- This person will be working within the Field Technology team, so they will be required to travel to different sites.
- Will do our best to allow remote work, when possible, but the nature of the work requires an onsite resource.
- Work experience in the computer support field.
- A combination of desktop, server & network support is required within a fast-paced, delivery-oriented agile environment.
- This position must be able to perform with minimal direct supervision and may be required to use their home as a base of operation.
- Significant travel (usually day trips) may be required.

- Windows operating systems such as Win10, Server 2016/2019/2022. Required 5 Years.
- Independently installing, updating, and managing networks. Required 5 Years.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues in various operating systems and application software in a LAN / standalone environment. Required 5 Years
- Imaging Computers. Required 5 Years.
- Securing Networks and Endpoints. Required 5 Years.
- Building, Deploying, and Maintaining Server. Required 5 Years.
