- 40+ hours per week, Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Support for production day shift as required
- Occasional off-hour support may be needed (isolated instances)

- Phone screen
- Onsite panel interview
Product of Role
Reporting directly to a Quality Supervisor, this position focuses on:
- Quality disposition of Advanced Optics parts and materials
- Review and release of product and material documentation
- Acting as a liaison between the Plant and key stakeholders
The role requires collaboration with Engineering, Operations, and Procurement teams, with a focus on driving improved customer experience for our products.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Ensure product quality meets requirements and compliance standards
- Maintain accuracy and timeliness of quality data and system updates
- Disposition and transact production events and inventory related to part/material non-conformances
- Support containment and corrective action activities
- Monitor performance metrics relevant to the role
- Support Plant Safety programs to ensure a safe working environment
- Achieve department requirements for safety, quality, and cost
- Drive process control, discipline, and continuous improvement
Required Education / Experience
- Option 1: Associates Degree + 2 years in a technical role within a manufacturing/production environment
- Option 2: High School Diploma/GED + 5 years in a technical role within a manufacturing/production environment
Required Skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills
- Quick learner of new technology and processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Desired Skills
- Previous quality control experience in manufacturing or technical function
- Knowledge of ISO 9001
- Experience interpreting procedures and work instructions
- Experience with ERP systems, e.g., SAP
Soft Skills
- Flexibility to work within a dynamic team and provide training to others
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization
