Logistic Assistant
Job Title: Logistics Clerk

Job Summary
The Logistics Clerk is responsible for supporting logistics and transportation operations by performing clerical, coordination, and documentation tasks. This role ensures the smooth movement of goods from vendors to the final destination while maintaining accurate records and communication with internal teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities

Track and manage incoming and outgoing shipments.

Maintain accurate electronic and/or paper records related to logistics activities.

Prepare and process documents such as purchase orders, sales orders, approvals, contracts, and application forms.

Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory counts when required.

Select transportation methods based on shipment size, cost, and delivery timelines.

Coordinate with material handlers regarding items to be picked from inventory and scheduled pickup times.

Verify incoming orders by checking for damage and confirming accuracy before updating inventory records.

Communicate order status and updates to clients.

Handle replacement processes if incorrect or damaged goods are received.

File claims with carriers in case of damaged shipments.

Collaborate with internal departments and logistics teams regarding daily operational activities.
Required Qualifications

Experience performing clerical duties and data entry in a professional office environment.

Experience working in a logistics or supply chain environment, including exposure to domestic and international shipping documentation.
Must-Have Skills

Strong English communication skills

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
