Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Location: New Port Richey, FL
Job Duration: 3 Months+
Shift: 6:30 am – 3 pm Monday through Friday
Job Overview:
The Maintenance Mechanic I will oversee and perform maintenance services on mechanical, electrical, piping, and structural systems in administrative buildings. This role requires hands-on expertise in diagnostics, repair, and troubleshooting of various facility systems, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform diagnostics, repairs, and servicing of heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, material handling equipment, and other electromechanical systems.
- General Repairs: Conduct carpentry, plumbing, welding, and other facility-related maintenance work as needed.
- Installation & Rigging: Assist with the installation, adjustment, and fabrication of parts for building, mobile, and production equipment.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain safety and regulatory equipment, ensuring compliance with EHS policies and reporting any defects.
- Project Coordination: Plan and execute equipment installations, layout work, and facility improvements in line with best practices.
- Facility Oversight: Work on all areas of the facility, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical or multi-skilled maintenance within a manufacturing environment
- Strong electromechanical repair and diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of GMP regulations and maintenance best practices
- Ability to perform welding, carpentry, and plumbing work as needed
- Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking and reporting
- High school diploma or local equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in regulated industries with maintenance best practices
- Strong understanding of facility safety and compliance requirements
- This role requires a hands-on approach to maintenance and the ability to troubleshoot a variety of mechanical and electrical systems to support smooth facility operations.
