Shift: Mon – Fri 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM 

Job Summary

The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the face of the company to patients, providing support for routine health visits and life-defining health decisions. The PSR II draws high-quality blood samples, prepares specimens for lab testing, and ensures accuracy while maintaining a professional, patient-centered environment. This role emphasizes leadership behaviors, process excellence, confidentiality, and accurate handling of patient information. Assignments may include doctor’s offices, patient service centers, or other locations as business needs dictate.




Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.

  • Maintain a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for patients.

  • Collect and process both forensic and clinical specimens according to established practices and procedures.

  • Verify patient demographic information and ensure accurate labeling of specimens, including obtaining patient signatures post-venipuncture.

  • Maintain required records and documentation accurately.

  • Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.




Job Requirements

Skills & Abilities:

  • Deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Work independently with minimal on-site supervision.

  • Demonstrate excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.

  • Flexible availability to meet staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

  • Adhere to all company policies, dress code, and safety standards.

  • Make decisions following established procedures and exercise sound judgment.

  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record (if applicable).

  • Travel and flexibility to cover multiple locations with minimal notice.

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.

  • Superior customer focus, transparent communication, adaptability to change, and knowledge of company operations.




Education & Training

  • High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED.

  • Training locations may vary based on trainer availability.




Experience

  • 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
