Phlebotomist II
Duration: 3 months
Location: Hendersonville TN
Shift : Tuesday and Thursday 8a-4p
Position Overview:
The PSR II is the face of our company to patients — whether visiting for routine health services or life-defining diagnostic tests. This role requires exemplary phlebotomy skills, professionalism, and the ability to create an environment of trust and confidence. The PSR II is responsible for drawing quality blood samples and preparing them for lab testing, while adhering to established procedures and patient confidentiality protocols.
Assignments may be in a doctor’s office, Patient Service Center (PSC), or other locations based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily tasks accurately and on time under supervisor direction.

Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.

Carry out clinical and forensic specimen collection, including pediatric and geriatric draws.

Verify patient identity and demographic information, and ensure proper labeling of all specimens in the patient’s presence.

Maintain accurate documentation and records.

Represent the organization with professionalism and promote a positive image to all stakeholders.

Travel as required to support multiple sites on short notice.

Follow all Policies & Procedures including dress code, safety, and confidentiality standards.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
-
High school diploma or equivalent – REQUIRED
-
Medical training (e.g., Medical Assistant, EMT/Paramedic) – Preferred
-
Phlebotomy certification – Preferred
(REQUIRED in California, Nevada, and Washington)
Experience:
-
Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections – REQUIRED

At least 2 years in a Patient Service Center – Preferred

Experience in customer service (retail or service environment) – Preferred

Experience with data entry and keyboarding – Required

High level of phlebotomy expertise, especially in diverse patient populations.

Ability to perform accurate, high-volume work with minimal supervision.

Comfortable with flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Demonstrates superior focus on patient care, safety, and confidentiality.

Must be adaptable, dependable, and capable of working under pressure.

Proven ability to handle multiple priorities.
Additional Requirements:

Must be available to train at various locations based on trainer availability.
