Job Description: Role: 100% On Site

Location: 701 S Main St., Suite 200, Logan, UT 84321

Contract Length: 6 months (potentially a year)

The role could potentially be a temp to perm role based off customer needs and contingent worker performance.

Under the direction of the Design Team Leader, the position will use knowledge of bioprocess container manufacturing and design in leading internal and customer large projects and providing industry leading solutions. This position will engage with the customer, operations, process, design, and quality engineering teams in researching and defining manufacturing standard process. Capabilities and expertise on BPC hardware and single use products, product design, product components, manufacturing processes, applications, and industry requirements are crucial as well as capabilities and understanding of creation and inspection of drawings, specifications, BOMs, routings, and all other manufacturing documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform final drawing checks and releases on product drawings being mindful of product application and component specific implications.
Collaborate with R&D and Process Engineering on new component/connection/process specification and qualifications.
Coordinate team efforts to complete design work for Customer Large Projects or Request for Proposals.
Assignment to a TFS Core Account as a primary Design Engineer.
Respond to internal and externally submitted technical inquiries.
Complete training on and carry out department steps within ECO Flow 8, 32 and 33 within Millersburg M2M ERP.
Drive process improvement through data driven activities.
Complete and assist with TrackWise investigations and coordinate CAPA tasks.
Take ownership of maintaining existing department design aids as needed.
Adopt the 4 Is: Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement in all daily activities.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Engineering or Related Degree with 3 years mechanical drafting experience preferred or 2 years experience within the BioProcess industry.
Comprehensive understanding of AutoCAD to complete any design request.
Competence in Microsoft Teams, Outlook and Excel software.
Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:
Proficient in AutoCAD or similar applications.
High school diploma or equivalent.
