Phlebotomist II
Job Location: Mauldin SC
Duration: 3 months of Contract with (Temp-to-hire)
Shift: Mon, Tue, Thu8:30am - 2pm, Sat at Peace Simpsonville 10am - 2pm
Position Summary:
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) is the face of our company, interacting with patients during routine visits or life-defining health decisions. The PSR II performs skilled blood draws, prepares specimens for lab testing, and follows established procedures with accuracy and professionalism. This role requires creating a trusting environment for patients, demonstrating leadership behaviors, and maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in patient information. Assignments may include work in a doctor's office, patient service center, or other locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.

Maintain a safe, professional, and organized work environment.

Confidently perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing according to established practices.

Verify patient demographic information and obtain initials/signatures to ensure specimen labeling accuracy.

Maintain required records and documentation.

Promote a positive image of the organization to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

Demonstrate organizational commitment and uphold company policies and procedures.
Job Requirements:
Skills & Abilities:

Deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

Work independently with minimal supervision.

Demonstrate excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.

Handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.

Exhibit superior customer focus and effective communication with patients, peers, and supervisors.

Make decisions based on established procedures and exercise sound judgment.
Availability & Logistics:

Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

Travel between multiple locations may be required with minimal notice.

Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record if applicable.

Must verify commute time to ensure the ability to consistently report on time (20–25 minutes maximum).

Education & Certification:

High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED.
Experience:

1–3 years of phlebotomy experience.
