Shift Availability:
Important: Must be available to work during the critical Thanksgiving period (Nov 22 – Dec 12), including Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, and weekends. Potential for full-time employment after contract.

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing a small sub-area within the distribution center. This includes employee training, managing daily output, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining order quality to meet shipping targets for retailer orders and stock transfers.

- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (4 positions)
- 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM (4 positions)

Job Summary:
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing a small sub-area within the distribution center. This includes employee training, managing daily output, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining order quality to meet shipping targets for retailer orders and stock transfers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign employees to workstations and delegate workload based on daily priorities and pickup schedules.
- Monitor and support team members to achieve productivity goals; escalate issues to supervisor when necessary.
- Train new employees on safety procedures and departmental work instructions.
- Inspect and audit orders and finished goods for accuracy, content, and compliance with specifications, using appropriate systems.
- Establish quality standards for order and material handlers as guidelines for product quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve inventory discrepancies; escalate unresolved issues to supervisor.
- Lead investigations affecting KPIs and assist supervisors with random audits, documenting results.
- Evaluate processes and products to ensure compliance with quality standards and standardized processes.
- Participate in root cause analysis for quality and accuracy issues; recommend corrective actions and assist with retraining if needed.
- Perform clerical functions including record-keeping, reporting, and daily performance summaries. Input data into computer systems.
- Follow all safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience.
- Strong communication skills, with proficiency in English reading and writing. Basic arithmetic skills required.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and drive key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Demonstrated leadership skills in team building, safety, and quality assurance.
- Minimum one year of experience in distribution or quality coordination preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Proficient in computer systems including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, and Intranet. Experience with MS Office and SAP is preferred.
- Willingness to work overtime, including weekends, especially during Nov 9 – Dec 19, 2025.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
