Shift:
- 5 x 8s days.
- 9 am – 5:30 pm may vary depending on coverage needed.
Location Requirement:
- Must live within 100 miles.
Certification:
- OB CERTIFICATION REQUIRED.
On Call Requirement:
- Max 2 days during week plus 1 weekend a month.
Required Experience:
- Two (2) years experience as an Ultrasonographer.
Licensure:
- RDMS certification.
- BLS required.
Special Skills, Knowledge:
- Anatomy, physiology production of radiographs utilizing multiple types of equipment.
- Provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served.
Education:
- Graduate of Sonographer accredited program required.
Position Summary:
- Performs dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for the diagnosis of disease and study of the malfunction of organs.
- Performs a variety of imaging procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols.
- Using sonographic equipment to record images of patients and help diagnose a variety of medical illnesses and conditions.
- Performs diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound technology.
- Responsible for operating sonographic equipment and communicating the results of diagnostic examinations.
- Functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.
