Job Title: Technical Writer II
Location: St. Paul, MN 55112 (Hybrid AH. 3 days required onsite)
Duration: 12 Months+ of Contract on W2 + possibility of extension based on performance and business needs
Pay Range: $35 - $44/hr. on W2

Pay Range: $35 - $44/hr. on W2
Note:
- At start of assignment and during training, the 3 days will be set. After training, flex 3 days - days hours flex.
- Hybrid position, AH. 3 days required onsite.
- Max of 2 writing samples are recommended.
- Will be working with manager and Project Manager
- Team total: 40
- Approximately 12 onsite on any given day
Job Purpose
- To bring clarity and consistency to product development documents through accurate and concise writing and effective use of document format
- To write, revise, organize, plan, summarize, edit, and proofread technical documents.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, analyze, and create content using technical writing theories, methods, and tools
- Clearly and correctly state and summarize technical information and conclusions in documents
- Assist with administrative authoring tasks, including routing documents for approvals, and reviewing documents for accuracy and conformance to standards and regulations
- Ensure document content quality by managing and organizing information for accuracy, consistency, and readability
- Review and peer-edit the work of other writers to ensure high quality standards within the technical writing group
- Interface cross-functionally within the product development team and throughout the company to acquire source material/information for documents and to develop understanding of the products and the product development process
- Identify, analyze, recommend, and implement innovative solutions to drive continuous improvement in technical writing processes and practices
Quality Systems Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
Qualifications
- 2 - 5 Years experience, with bachelor's degree in related field
- Experience technical writing in the medical device or other regulated industry -highly preferred
- Strong collaboration skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and projects
- Attention to detail
- Ability to adapt and innovate in a changing environment
Additional Job Specific Requirements:
- Experience with a content management system or labeling system
- Experience with desktop publishing tools, preferably InDesign and other Adobe tools
- Ability to operate within complex processes
- Experience in technical writing used for translated documentation
- Looking for someone experienced in a regulated field - will be placed at top of list
