We are a multi-org team at Client that builds, deploys, maintains, and supports a scientific application stack
In addition to building scientific applications, we also work with users to enable them to be successful in using our stack for their research.
We are looking for a self-driven and enthusiastic person to help the end users of our tools to use them effectively and as intended.
You should be passionate about software and communities
Applicants should have a flexible and learning mindset, be able to work in a fluid and dynamic environment, and have a strong desire to pursue creative solutions to challenging problems
We have exciting projects that require careful design, have a large user community, and are impactful to the pipeline.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with our user community
Build, deploy, and troubleshoot software in our application stack Responsible for R language support as part of the enablement team Relay stakeholder needs to the developer teams
Prepare and deliver training sessions
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Good knowledge of R ecosystem, including R Shiny
Knowledge of Git and GitLab
Experience presenting your work, both verbally and in writing, to diverse audiences including stakeholders, technical colleagues, and management.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with R programming language/ecosystem and Posit tools
Experience with software packaging tools such as EasyBuild, Spack, and Homebrew
Experience with DevOps software engineering practices, including continuous integration and testing frameworks
Prior experience in the Pharma/Biotech industry
BS in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences
Must Have
(a) R language and ecosystem including R Shiny
(b) Very good communication skills
(c) Experience with software packaging tools such as EasyBuild, Spack, and Homebrew
