Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Location: Las Vegas NV
Duration: 1+ Months
Shiftt: Mon- Fri 8-5pm
Basic Purpose:
The Materials Management Technician is responsible for the shipping, receiving, and routing of materials into and out of the Business Unit (BU). This role ensures accurate documentation and timely data entry to support the smooth operation of supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, verify, and process incoming materials to the main and off-site facilities; enter receipts into the Materials Management software system.

Identify and report discrepancies in materials and shipping documentation to the Warehouse Manager.

Prepare and document outbound shipments.

Manage the Returned Goods process in compliance with the Returned Goods Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).

Deliver materials to appropriate staging areas or departments.

Store warehoused items in designated locations and rotate stock based on receipt and expiration dates.

Report any materials with short shelf life (less than 30 days) to the Warehouse Manager.

Assist in regular cycle counts and full physical inventory processes.

Ensure compliance with company policies, including Materials and Services Management, OSHA, CLIA, and other regulatory guidelines.

Propose process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency and accuracy.

Assist with order entry, picking, packing, and deliveries for both internal and external orders.

Support record storage and retrieval activities.

Help manage internal, inbound, and external mail processes.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education:
-
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
-
Minimum 6 months of experience in materials management or a related field.

Data entry experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
-
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Good record-keeping and organizational abilities.

Proficiency in using computers, printers, and barcode scanners.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) or equivalent software.

Ability to work well in a team environment.
-
Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds.
-
Ability to safely operate materials handling equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).
